On June 5th, the city of Sainte-Agathe-Des-Monts inaugurated its new dog park on Sainte-Agathe East Street, near Route 117 and the P’tit Train du Nord trail.

Its unique feature? It is equipped with a solar lighting system provided by Écosolaris!

Last year, the city contacted us to discuss the lighting project for their future dog park. They wanted to install a lighting system to ensure the safety of the area without the need for expensive electrical infrastructure. They asked us for advice on the possibilities of installing a solar lighting system.

That’s when we proposed a solar lighting system consisting of 4 LED streetlights, each with a power of 50 watts, which automatically turn on in the evening and turn off in the early morning.

These streetlights are equipped with a monocrystalline solar panel and a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery, which provides them with approximately 3 days of autonomy.

As you can see in the photos, the lighting provided by the 4 streetlights is very powerful and effectively illuminates the entire dog park.

The city has expressed its satisfaction with the solution and is considering integrating more solar streetlights into its future projects.
